WorkReady-to-wear fashion, Australia · Order value

Outfits, not items, at a considered price point.

Editorial merchandising and collection logic engineered so a second piece feels obvious rather than upsold.

Ready to wear, seasonal drops

The context

Palm Bee sells ready-to-wear at accessible-premium prices, with cardigans near $69 and dresses near $99, plus jewellery and accessories. At that price the basket is decided by styling confidence rather than by discount depth: a customer who can picture the outfit buys two pieces, a customer who cannot buys one and hesitates on fit.

The store had strong collection identity, a free shipping threshold above $150 and free returns. What it did not have was a merchandising path that carried a customer from one liked piece to the complete look.

What we looked at

The interventions

What changed, and why it should work.

  1. 01

    Merchandised the look

Built editorial pairing so the natural next click was the piece that completes the outfit, in the same colour story, rather than a generic related-products row.

  2. 02

    Used the threshold honestly

Surfaced distance to free shipping as a styling prompt at the right moment, instead of a cart-page nudge that reads as pressure.

  3. 03

    Made hedging cheap

Brought the free-returns promise forward on garments where sizing was the recurring doubt in reviews, so a two-size order stopped feeling reckless.

  4. 04

    Gave accessories a job

Positioned jewellery and accessories as finishing decisions attached to garments rather than a separate department to be discovered.
